Motus4SX

Built with intention. Crafted for precision. It's all about the performance.

Master multiplier below

The Motus 4SX is a dedicated squash X 4-inch performance frame built around intentional geometry, real material choices, and the flight characteristics that matter when the goal is precision and performance.

Built with intention

The Motus 4SX was built with intention from the start. Every design choice, from no props in view to geometry, material selection, and overall layout, was made in service of precision, performance, and the way the frame is meant to behave in the air.

Core features

Overlapping arm design

The overlapping arm design is intentional geometry built around load path control through the center section. By extending up and over the stack screw area, the arm layout increases the effective lever distance between the upper bolt and the center engagement point, creating a trapped mechanical relationship at the joint. In a frontal load event, force is driven inward toward the center instead of simply trying to peel an arm away from the structure. If the rear arms are loaded, that force is transferred forward into the opposing arms. If the structure tries to twist inward, the geometry captures that movement at the center and holds it against the upper engagement point. If load comes from the opposite direction, the same relationship pushes into the top interface and into the opposing arm. The result is a self-bracing effect where impact energy is worked into the center geometry, helping keep the arms aligned, reducing opportunities for rotational play, and resisting the arm slop that develops more easily in conventional layouts.

Squash X design

This is a dedicated squash X layout, designed intentionally as part of the frame's overall flight behavior and geometry.

No props in view

Clean sight lines matter. The layout keeps props out of view, which makes the frame especially attractive for cinematic work.

Exposed stack screws

The stack screws remain exposed and accessible, so maintenance is simpler and faster. You can get to the stack hardware without removing the arms, which makes service work more straightforward while preserving the structural intent of the design.

Freestyle and cinematic

Excellent for freestyle and ideal for cinematic chasing, especially when tracking motorcycles or drift cars.

Lower profile, usable room

The layout maintains a lower overall profile than a conventional bottom-deck/top-deck frame built around 25mm standoffs, while still providing 28mm of usable room at the front and rear for the camera, VTX, and receiver.
